Intergenerational Rescue Foundation (IRF) Inc. has officially relaunched its AGROWEEN Academic Social Hub at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, New York.
The relaunch, held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, brought together educators, healthcare leaders, farmers, students, parents, and volunteers to address youth absenteeism and promote food security, sustainable agriculture, and mental health awareness in Richmond County.
The event featured student exhibitions, farm-to-plate demonstrations, composting and STEM showcases, financial wellness education, and one-on-one tutoring.
IRF also honored community stewards at the 2026 ARA Awards, including Gerardi's Farmers Market, Northwell Health, CUNY CSI Sustainability, and Black Farmers United of NYS. Special thanks to Lowe's for donating plants for guests.
